One line — the desk.

First listing€0

On completionNothing

An advisor who is not paid on completion has no reason to push a house that is wrong for the buyer. That is the whole argument, and it only works if the line is absent.

Or, put another way

€14 600 is four years of a desk here — paid once, on one sale, elsewhere.

Plate 07 Six answers Answered by the trade desk

The awkward ones, in writing.

Two of these answers cost us instructions. They are printed anyway, because finding out later is worse.

Moving in

The homes

Question 01Costs us workMoving in

Can I move my listings from another platform?

Yes. Send us the addresses and we survey them in the order you choose — but each one is surveyed afresh, so a book of twenty takes about ten weeks to move across.

In shortYes, in batches

Question 02Moving in

Can I hold more than one desk?

As many as you have people. Each desk is €290 a month with its own login and its own twenty-five listings, and they all appear under one firm in the index.

In shortAny number

Question 03Costs us workThe homes

What if a home fails the survey?

It still goes up — with the faults published. We only turn a home away if the owner refuses to let the survey be seen, or if the title is not clean.

In shortIt still goes up

Question 04The homes

Who owns the photographs?

You do, on the day they are taken. Use them in your own window, in print, anywhere — we keep a licence to show them on the register, and that is all.

In shortYou do

Question 05The account

What changes when I move to Professional?

Capacity and tools: twenty-five listings, fourteen days to publication, the API and a named advisor. Nothing about how a home is published changes, and the free listing stays free.

In shortCapacity only

Question 06The account

Is there a contract or a tie-in?

No tie-in and no notice period. Stop paying and the desk drops back to one listing at the end of the month; the listings you have live stay live until they sell.
