SHORTWhat the report covers, and what it does not.

Every car is inspected against 200 published points before it is listed, and the report is published in full — including faults we have chosen not to rectify. Photographs show the actual car. The report describes the car on the date of inspection; ordinary wear between inspection and handover is not a defect. Anything not in the report and not visible in the photographs, we did not find; if you find it in the first fourteen days, clause 6 applies without argument.

SHORTSeventy-two hours, five hundred euro, no games.

A car may be reserved for 72 hours against a €500 deposit. During that period we will not sell the car to another buyer at any price. The deposit is applied to the purchase price or refunded in full if you do not proceed, within three working days of the reservation lapsing.

SHORTFourteen days, any reason, full refund.

You may withdraw within fourteen days of handover for any reason or none. Notify us in writing; we collect the car at our cost and refund the full amount paid, including delivery, within three working days of collection. Up to 1,000 km driven is included. Beyond that we deduct only the documented running cost, itemised. Damage caused after handover is deducted at trade cost, evidenced by photographs.

SHORTWhat our valuation is worth.

An online valuation is an estimate, not an offer. The binding offer is made in writing after physical inspection and remains open for seven days. Where your car is subject to finance, we settle the outstanding balance directly with your lender and pay any equity to you. Payment is made by transfer on the day the inspection clears.

SHORTUsed to answer you. Never sold.

We process your data to answer your enquiry, complete the sale and meet our legal obligations, under Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. We do not sell, rent or share your details with brokers or advertisers. Inspection and sale records are kept for ten years as required by law; enquiry data is deleted after twenty-four months. You may request access, correction, portability or deletion at any time by writing to privacy@avava.eu.

SHORTWhat we are responsible for.

We are liable without limit for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the purchase price of the car. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use, profit or opportunity. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

SHORTVersioned, dated, and never retroactive.

We may amend these terms for future orders. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the date of your order, and it is archived with your invoice. Material changes are listed in the version history below, with the date and a plain-language summary of what moved.
