The GT kit replaced the cast-iron one on our shelf in 2025 and it is what goes onto every car of this weight leaving the Munich workshop. It stops the car shorter from three figures than the kit it replaced, and it is still doing it on the tenth lap, which is the reason we stopped fitting two of the alternatives.
Where it is honest to say so: the first stop on a cold morning squeals and the bite is softer until the discs are warm — and a replacement disc costs what a set of tyres costs. That is the trade for the tenth lap.
We build them a pair at a time and the discs in stock today are current casting numbers, printed on the invoice before you pay. Nothing sits here long: the 20 sets in the rack turn over roughly every five weeks, and a disc that passes eighteen months on the shelf goes onto our own workshop cars rather than onto yours.
Fitted here the carriers are torqued to the manufacturer’s figures, the sensors are read rather than replaced by default, and you leave with the old discs in the boot if you ask for it. Fronts alone is fine on this car — the rears are a different diameter and wear at a different rate.

Fitted in March and the discs are still unmarked at six thousand. The stopping distance is why I keep buying them — the cold squeal everyone mentions is real but you stop hearing it after a week.
Great kit, wrong one for a city carCRITICAL
My mistake, not the product. Mine never gets warm on a school run and it squeals every morning. AVAVA swapped them for the cast-iron set and charged only the difference, which they did not have to do.
AVAVA We should have flagged the cold-bite line at checkout for a car that does short trips — it is on the product page now, above the fold. Thank you for saying it plainly.
One caliper arrived scuffed, replaced in two days
Courier damage, not the part. Photo on Monday, replacement Wednesday, and they collected the damaged one. No argument, no form to fill in.
