What you pay, when, and what the money holds.
20%then nothing for weeks
2.1A booking exists when we receive 20% of the quoted price — not before, whatever has been discussed.
Plain: nothing is held until you pay
2.3The balance is due 45 days before departure; we send one reminder two weeks earlier.
Plain: one invoice, one nudge
2.5The price is fixed on the day of the deposit and cannot rise afterwards, for any reason.
Plain: no fuel or currency surcharges
2.6We add no fee of our own — no booking fee, admin fee or card surcharge, and nothing is payable on arrival.
Plain: the number is the number

What comes back, and how quickly.
100%for the first fortnight
4.1Within 14 days of the deposit you get all of it back, with no reason given and no questions asked.
Plain: a real cooling-off period
4.2After that: 80% more than 45 days out, 50% between 45 and 21 days, then whatever suppliers release.
Plain: the closer to departure, the less moves
4.4We chase every supplier for the last case and pass back all of it — we keep no part of a cancellation.
Plain: we do not profit from your bad news

Four times in fifteen years. This is what happened each time.
4times since 2011
5.1If we cancel for any reason at all, you choose: everything back, or the same trip moved at the old price.
Plain: your call, not ours
5.2A day lost to something on our side is refunded per day, without you having to ask for it.
Plain: we count it ourselves
5.3Strikes, weather and closures are not cancellations: we reroute the trip at our cost and tell you afterwards.
Plain: 41 days rerouted last year, $0 charged
043 points
Before booking, after booking, and on the road.
2free rewrites, then cost only
3.2Two full rewrites of the route are free before you book, and a third if the miss was ours.
Plain: most people use one and a half
3.4After booking you pay only what the supplier charges us, quoted in writing before anything moves.
Plain: a hotel swap is usually $0
3.6Changes on the road are free; a permit already issued in your name is the one thing that cannot move.
Plain: say it at breakfast

Where our responsibility ends and cover begins.
€2Mliability cover in force
6.1We are responsible for everything we booked — the route, the suppliers we chose and the money you paid us.
Plain: our side is our problem
6.2Travel insurance is required and yours to buy; we will send two policies we would buy ourselves.
Plain: we earn nothing on them
6.4Our liability is capped at the trip price and covered to €2M; we do the phoning either way.
Plain: policy IPP-4471-26
063 points
Yours to hold, ours to explain.
3 daysto your exact document list
8.1Valid documents are your responsibility; we send the exact list for your passports three days after booking.
Plain: with links and timings
8.2A refused or late visa is treated as your cancellation under 4.2 — start early, and we will remind you.
Plain: this is the one that catches people
8.3Names on tickets and permits must match the passport exactly; we check them twice before issue.
Plain: middle names included
073 points
What we hold, who sees it, how long we keep it.
0data sold, ever
9.1We hold only what a booking needs: names, dates, contact details and any access requirements you tell us.
Plain: no marketing profile
9.2It goes to the airline, hotel and guide who need it, and to nobody else — we sell no data, ever.
Plain: no third-party trackers either
9.4Deleted seven years after the trip, or sooner if you ask; one email is enough.
Plain: seven years is the tax rule
Something unclear? Ask about any clause before you pay a deposit and a planner will answer in her own words, not by quoting it back at you. Ask about a clause
Not principles — ten things that actually happen, how often we have seen each, and who pays when they do.

The short version If we booked it, we answer for it and we pay. If life did it, insurance covers it — and we still do the phoning, the rebooking and the paperwork. Ask about a clause
