Written to be read — not to be survived.

Fourteen sections covering what we sell, what we promise, and what happens when something goes wrong. In the same plain language as the rest of the site.

Four of them genuinely limit what you can expect from us. Those are flagged where they appear rather than buried in a subclause — you should be able to find them without a search.

The terms

01

Who we are

AVAVA Motors GmbH is a multi-brand vehicle retailer registered in Munich, Germany, trading from seven locations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Our registered office is Maximilianstraße 12, 80539 Munich.

Where these terms say “we”, “us” or “AVAVA”, they mean that company. Where they say “you”, they mean the person buying a vehicle, requesting a service, listing stock with us, or using this website.

02

What these terms cover

These terms apply to vehicle sales, part-exchange, workshop services, dealer listings and your use of this site. Where a signed order form, finance agreement or dealer contract says something different, that document wins for the subject it covers.

Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law in your country. Where a clause would conflict with those rights, the law applies and the clause does not.

03

Prices and what is included

Advertised vehicle prices are on-the-road: they include VAT at the applicable rate, first registration and the first scheduled service. We do not add an administration fee, and delivery within Germany, Austria and Switzerland is included.

Workshop prices shown on the service pages are indicative starting figures. The written quote we send after inspecting the vehicle is the binding one — see section 11.

Dealer subscription prices are quoted per month excluding VAT. Annual billing is charged as ten months' fee for twelve months of service.

04

Reserving and ordering

Pressing Reserve holds a vehicle for 48 hours at no cost and creates no obligation on either side. A contract of sale forms only when we both sign the order form.

We may decline an order before signature — most often because a vehicle failed a re-check, or because we cannot verify identity or the source of funds. If you have paid anything at that point, we refund it in full within five working days.

Genuine pricing errors do not bind us. If an advertised price is obviously wrong we will tell you before you sign and you may withdraw.

05

The 200-point inspection

Limits what you can expect

Every vehicle we sell passes a documented 200-point inspection carried out by our own technicians. The full report is attached to the listing, including any point that failed and the work done to rectify it. We publish the report rather than a summary.

The inspection records the condition of the vehicle on the date it was carried out. It is not a prediction, a guarantee against future wear, or a substitute for the warranty in section 10. A used vehicle will show use consistent with its age and mileage, and the report describes that rather than eliminating it.

06

Delivery and collection

We deliver on our own transporters, never by third-party trailer. Typical delivery is four working days from cleared paperwork; collection from the showroom can usually be arranged for the next day.

The vehicle is detailed and fully fuelled or charged on arrival, and a specialist hands it over in person. Risk passes to you at handover. Ownership passes when we have received payment in full.

If we miss an agreed delivery date by more than seven days for a reason within our control, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

07

Your right to change your mind

You may return a vehicle within 7 days or 300 km of delivery, whichever comes first, and we refund the purchase price in full including the original delivery cost.

The vehicle must come back in the condition it left in, with all documents and both keys. We may reduce the refund to reflect damage, missing items or use beyond what was needed to assess the car.

This right sits alongside your statutory rights, it does not replace them.

08

Part-exchange and buying your car

Limits what you can expect

An online valuation is an estimate based on the details you give us. After a physical inspection we confirm a firm offer, and that offer stands for 14 days.

When you hand a vehicle to us you confirm that you own it outright or can settle any outstanding finance, that it has not been recorded as a total loss or stolen, that the mileage is genuine to the best of your knowledge, and that you have disclosed any structural damage. If any of that turns out to be untrue, we may revise or withdraw the offer, and where we have already paid you, recover the difference.

Where finance is outstanding we settle it directly with your lender and pay you or credit the purchase with whatever remains.

09

Finance

We act as a credit broker, not a lender, and introduce you to a panel of finance providers. Rates start at 3.9% APR; the rate you are offered depends on term, deposit and your circumstances.

Figures produced by the calculator on this site are illustrative and do not constitute an offer of credit. The finance agreement is between you and the lender, and its terms govern the credit.

You may settle a finance agreement early at any time. You pay interest accrued to the settlement date and there is no early-settlement penalty.

10

Warranty

Limits what you can expect

Every vehicle carries a minimum 12-month parts and labour warranty, extendable to 24 or 36 months at the point of sale. The schedule attached to your order form sets out exactly what is covered.

The warranty does not cover wear items consumed in normal use — tyres, brake pads and discs, wiper blades, clutch friction material — nor damage from accident, misuse, competition use, modification, or a failure to follow the manufacturer's service schedule. It does not cover consequential loss.

Servicing elsewhere does not void the warranty, but work must be to manufacturer schedule using parts of at least equivalent specification, and you need to be able to show it was done.

11

Servicing and repairs

Prices shown on the service pages are indicative. We inspect first, then send a written quote, and no work begins until you approve it. You may approve part of a quote and decline the rest.

Work we carry out is covered by a 12-month parts and labour warranty. You do not need to have bought the vehicle from us.

Where we replace a part you may ask for the old one back at handover. We keep vehicles insured while they are with us.

12

Dealer listings

Dealer subscriptions run monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date; we do not refund part-months.

We charge no commission on any sale you make through the platform, and no fee per enquiry or lead. The subscription is the whole cost.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you list. We may remove a listing that is misdescribed, duplicated or unlawful, and may suspend an account that repeatedly does so.

13

Your account and this site

Keep your login details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

The content of this site — text, photography, the inspection report format and the AVAVA name and marks — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it to evaluate and buy a vehicle; you may not scrape, republish or resell it.

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw features.

14

Liability, law and complaints

Limits what you can expect

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability in connection with a vehicle or a service is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of use, hire charges, or other indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by German law, and the courts of Munich have jurisdiction — though as a consumer you keep the right to bring proceedings where you live. Complaints go to hello@avava.motors and we acknowledge within one business day.

Last updated 1 July 2026. Where a change affects an agreement already running, we give 30 days' notice before it takes effect. None of this affects your statutory rights.
