Listening costs nothing and asks nothing. What we cannot give away is other people’s music — the records we play are licensed to us, for the hours we play them, and that licence does not travel with a copy.

Who owns what you hear
The music
Every record belongs to whoever made and released it. We hold a broadcast licence for the hours we are on air; it covers our transmission and nothing beyond it.
The programme
Links, jingles, the journal, the artwork, the schedule and this website belong to the station. Non-commercial reuse with a credit is almost always granted.
Guest sets
A visiting DJ keeps their set. We get the right to broadcast it, keep it in the archive, and take it down again the day they ask.
What you send us
Requests Read out on air, sometimes with your first name, and logged in the night sheet.
Comments Published under the entry in the journal, moderated before they appear.
Demos Listened to once, all the way through. Played on air only after we have asked you.
Guest sets Broadcast, kept in the archive, and credited to you on the show page.
Money, bookings, refunds
Donations
A monthly gift can be stopped at any point and stops immediately. A one-off gift is a gift — but write within 14 days and we will send it back, no questions.
Tapes
Runs of two hundred, twice a year. Orders, shipping and returns are handled by Bandcamp, not by us.
Studio hire
Studio two, with or without an engineer. A booking is confirmed when we reply in writing — not when the form is sent.
Sponsorship
We take support from people and institutions, credited once per hour in plain words. No ad reads, no branded shows.
What we do not promise
If the stream drops during the show you waited for, we are sorry — genuinely — but nothing is owed. That is the honest deal with free radio, and we would rather write it here than bury it in a clause.
