No data broker, no ad network, no affiliate. Four service providers see the minimum they need.

One line to privacy@avavaradio.fm and everything with your name on it is deleted.
What we never do
Advertising
No ad network, no retargeting pixel, no sponsored placement dressed up as a show.
Third-party analytics
No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps. The listener count comes from our own server log.
Selling data
Nothing about you is sold, rented, or traded — not to labels, not to promoters, not to anyone.
Profiles
We do not build a picture of your taste, your location, or your habits. Nobody here has that screen.
Dark patterns
No pre-ticked boxes, no confirm-shaming, no newsletter you did not ask for.
What we do keep
Stream connections To count how many people are listening and to keep the stream stable. The last block of every IP is cut before it is written down.
The weekly letter To send you one letter a week. Unsubscribe is one click and removes the address the same day.
Contact form To answer you. It lands in one inbox that three of us read, not a ticket system.
Journal comments To publish the reply under the entry. The e-mail field is optional and never shown.
Donations Because the foundation has to account for every euro. The card itself never touches our servers.
Demos and guest sets To listen to it and to answer. Kept while the answer is still useful, then deleted with the thread.
Who else sees anything
Mollie
Takes the payment when you support the station. They see the card, we see only that it worked.
Mixcloud
Hosts the show archive. If you press play on an embedded show, their rules apply to that player.
Bandcamp
Sells the tapes twice a year. Orders and addresses live with them, not with us.
Hetzner
Runs the machine the stream and this site come from. They hold the server, not the data.

The paperwork
Version 4. Removed the demo inbox from the shared folder; demos now sit in the same inbox as everything else.
Version 3. Switched payments to Mollie and dropped the previous provider’s cookie.
Version 2. Started truncating IP addresses in the stream log before writing them down.
